This past Labor Day Weekend we decided not to take off. We didn’t have to work, but we decided to help the SAFMC college ministry and serve SAU by helping the freshmen move in.
It’s always an exciting time to see these freshmen arrive with their families. It’s a weekend that represents so many hopes, dreams, and opportunity. We love it. Grace was with us all day as we walked around giving out cold drinks to people moving in.
Later in the evening, we went back to eat dinner with nearly 1000 people in the new plaza on campus. It was awesome. And really cool for us to remember why we love Spring Arbor. It’s also cool to see Grace take this all in. Cool that she is growing up on a college campus that’s growing. Thankful for a great day to serve and share.
