After getting the ad in the paper and prepping the garage, Micki was ready to make some magic by getting rid of our stuff in our annual garage sale.
We got up early Saturday morning to get the stuff out by the street for some quality curb appeal. People came early and often to buy our stuff. Grace even got our her sidewalk chalk to make sure people coming into our driveway knew what was going on.
We sold alot of our stuff. The big winners of the day were my parents. I sold their Beatles collection on vinyl. Couldn’t get the desk or lazyboy sold, but hoping to unload them in the Durocher’s sale next week. It was a really fun day because of the perfect weather, and the relaxation of not doing anything. Cary and Abby Brant came over for a bit, got Dunkin Dougnuts for the girls, and called Dad to coordinate him coming Sunday. After the sale, we cleaned up, and Grace and I detailed out the vehicles.
She was my expert rinser. We had lots of fun listening to classic rock, getting wet, and cleaning the cars. Grace was quite the detailer. She was getting into cleaning and did a great job. We had lots of fun. By the time the day was over, we had done the sale, cleaned the vehicles, mowed the lawn, and cleaned the house. A great fun family day together.
