Tiger Release Party

Tiger Release Party

Last Friday night Sam and I took the kids to Lansing to the CompUSA for Apple’s Tiger Release Party. Don’t know what it is? It’s a geek thing. Apple releases some software, and they make a big deal about it. Mac disciples like Sam and I get charged up, so we brought the kids and made an adventure out of it. We got McDonald’s drive-thru and headed there.

The party was lame-o. We should have driven to the Apple Store in Detroit, but oh well, They did have a lady dressed up like a tiger, so we got a shot for fun. Then we got some snacks, and left. Nothing was really on sale or buzzing. We can buy the software online for 50% off.

Then we headed to Krispy Kreme for some free hot dougnuts and milk. The kids all got cool KK hats. It was Max’s first special adventure with the big kids and he did a pretty good job. The kids were starting to get bored, but had fun. We did too. It’s a week later, and I still don’t have Tiger loaded up. Really revolutionary, I reckon’.
